Job Description

  • Deliver theory and practical classes for all Electrical programs (SKM, industrial courses, short courses and cross-unit programs).
  • Prepare and update WIM, lesson plans, training modules, assessments and teaching materials according to NOSS,ST,HRD Corp, ISO, and JSkills standards.
  • Conduct and manage and all competency assessments, ensuring complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Maintain the electrical workshop, including safety checks, equipment functionality, tool management, inventory updates, and consumable planning.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ST/OSH requirements, procedures, safety signage, risk assessments, and training safety standards.
  • Guide and mentor students in academic performance, discipline, employability skills, and practical competency.
  • Track student attendance, performance issues, and provide feedback or pre counselling to weak learners.
  • Support industrial visits, internship coordination, job placement activities, and employer engagement for Electrical unit students.
  • Contribute manpower or expertise to other departments when required.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly training reports, update records on time, and support scheduling and timetabling tasks.
  • Participate in CSR activities, marketing events, audits, star rating evaluations, and accreditation exercises.
  • Continuously improve teaching content, propose new program ideas, and ensure training relevance to industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Academic Department, Program Coordinators, Assessors, industry partners.
  • To perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department or senior management.
