Johor Skills is one of the most established skills training centre in the state, which offers continuous training in various technical and technological based programmes to the industrial workforce, school leavers and unemployed graduated to upgrade their skills.
Johor Skills is an approved training provider of Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department, Ministry of Human Resources through the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK), Department of Skills Development (JPK) and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), SIRIM Bhd, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Energy Commission, British Institute of Non Destructive Testing (BINDT), The Welding Institute of UK (TWI), Institute of Corrosion UK (ICORR), American Petroleum Institute (API) and Mobius Institute of Vibration.
Programmes offered by Johor Skills are recognized by the industries. This is shown by the large numbers of companies including multinational companies that have participated in the various training programmes.
