We are looking for a passionate and professionally qualified ICT teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality ICT courses to secondary school students, fostering their digital literacy, computational thinking, and innovation, and leading them to achieve excellent results in the IGCSE exams. You will be a key player in fulfilling the school’s mission, empowering students through technology education and helping them grow into confident, resilient, grateful, and contributing citizens of the future.

Main Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Plan, prepare, and implement engaging ICT courses based on the Cambridge IGCSE ICT syllabus.
• Teach core ICT concepts and practical skills, covering digital literacy, programming fundamentals （such as Python), data processing, software applications, and the responsible use of technology.
• Employ differentiated instruction strategies to meet the learning needs of diverse students and create a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
• Effectively integrate educational technology into teaching to enhance the student learning experience.
• Encourage students to use digital technology responsibly and ethically.

Assessment and Student Development

• Design and implement formative and summative assessments to effectively monitor, record, and report student academic progress.
• Provide systematic preparation guidance and support for IGCSE exams.
• Analyze assessment data to improve teaching practices and enhance student learning outcomes.

Classroom Management and Pastoral Care

• Establish clear classroom behavior guidelines to create a positive and orderly learning environment.
• Focus on student well-being and promote students’ social and emotional development.
• Maintain effective communication with students and parents to support student growth.

Curriculum and School Contributions

• Actively participate in curriculum planning and continuous improvement, developing teaching resources and practical activities.
• Participate in departmental meetings, all-staff meetings, and professional development training.
• Assist in organizing school activities, extracurricular activities, and educational visits.
• Uphold the school’s core values ​​and serve as a role model in maintaining the school culture.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education (ICT), or a related field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with recognized teaching qualifications (such as PGCE, TCM Diploma, or equivalent).
• At least 1 year1 of secondary school ICT or Computer Science teaching experience, with IGCSE teaching experience preferred.

Professional Skills

• Proficient in Python programming and mainstream software applications (such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
• Familiar with educational technology and digital teaching methodologies, able to effectively integrate technology into teaching.
